WebRTC Now Available Across Mobile and Desktop with new Firefox for Android Compatibility


Firefox has announced recently that it is now enabled with WebRTC, a brand new  HTML5  API that facilitates with online communication, like video calling straight from the Firefox browser. In short, WebRTC is now on your Firefox that is for Android phone. Now, you can experience on both desktop as well as on Mobile phone.


WebRTC Now Available Across Mobile and Desktop with new Firefox for Android CompatibilityAll the three WebRTC components that are supported in Firefox for Android:       

  •getUserMedia (gUM), which supplies the access to the user’s webcam and also on microphone.
 
  •PeerConnection, which facilitates the calls from one browser to another

  •DataChannels, which makes the end to end connection for the data transmission in between the browsers.

WebRTC was already launched for Windows, Mac and Linux’s Firefox and now firefox launch WebRTC for Android.
